Basketball is huge here in the Middle Kingdom (China). I am one of those rare people who like the NBA. I meet so few people in the states who like it. Most like college basketball more. I LOVE the NBA though.
Here in China men love the NBA. Yao Ming and his rookie contemporary Yi have done much for the sport. All of my male students love it. So, this is one way I meet lots of guys. Since 90% of my students are female I need a time when I can just be a guy.
Tonight about 5 guys are going to come over and watch some old Michael Jordan games with me. It should be fun. We all like to live-stream NBA games from America.
